Title: Client Solutions Specialist

But what do you actually DO at Alight?

I am essentially the first line of defense for any questions my clients may have, and I help them find a solution as soon as possible.

What did you do before you came to Alight?

I was the marketing communications manager for a company called Direct Cellars. They are a wine subscription company, and I handled all the marketing via social media, email, back office, campaigns, etc. Before Direct Cellars, I worked as an account executive at Yelp in San Francisco.

Marketers are your favorite people because …

To be a marketer takes both creativity and time management while consistently keeping up to date with the most relevant platforms in the industry. I would say that is a large skill set that’s often underpraised!

What do you do when you aren’t at work?

Yoga! I teach part-time at CorePower. I also love to travel, both within the area but also nationally, exploring different foods and scenery. Lastly, there is — of course — the Hulu/Netflix binge watching. I am currently up to date with “The Handmaid’s Tale” and am waiting for my many other shows that won’t be released until this fall. #impatient

What’s your most-watched movie? (And do you regret this?)

“Wayne’s World” and absolutely not — it’s EXCELLENT.

If you could only eat one food the rest of your life, it would be …

Hummus and warm pita bread.

You’re a ride-or-die fan of …

This is quite a broad statement, seeing as you can be a ride-or-die fan of many different things: sports teams, bands, actors, etc. I’ll go ahead with the music route and say it’s a tie between Atmosphere and Dirty Heads.

The one piece of technology I can’t live without is …

I am not sure if this counts as technology per se, but my favorite app is hands down Postmates. A major deciding factor in moving back to KC was whether or not they had it here.
